Job Description

We are looking for a head of marketing communications with India's luxury brand Falguni Shane Peacock.

Head Marketing & Communication

Department- Marketing & Communications

Reporting To :- Creative Director

Role Purpose:-

The Head of Marketing & Communication will lead the brand's overall marketing, communication, PR, and storytelling strategy. This role is responsible for strengthening brand positioning, driving visibility, supporting business growth, and ensuring consistent brand messaging across all channelsoffline, digital, media, and internal communications.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Positioning:

Define and own the overall brand strategy and communication framework

Ensure consistent brand voice, tone, and visual identity across all touchpoints

Strengthen brand recall and positioning in line with business and creative vision.

Marketing Planning & Execution

Develop and execute annual and quarterly marketing plans

Lead campaigns for collections, shows, launches, exhibitions, and collaborations

Align marketing initiatives with sales, retail, and business objectives

Communications & PR

Oversee external communications, including press releases, media notes, and brand stories

Manage PR agencies and media relationships (fashion, lifestyle, and business media)

Drive coverage in print, digital, and international publications

Handle crisis communication and reputation management

Digital Marketing & Content

Lead digital strategy across social media, website, email marketing, and paid campaigns

Oversee content planning, including shoots, videos, captions, and brand narratives

Track performance metrics and optimize digital campaigns for reach and engagement

Fashion Shows, Events & Collaborations

Plan and manage communication for fashion shows, events, and trunk shows

Coordinate with designers, stylists, production, and external partners

Lead influencer, celebrity, and brand collaboration strategies

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

Lead, mentor, and grow the marketing & communication team

Manage agencies, vendors, photographers, stylists, and creative partners

Work closely with design, sales, retail, production, and leadership teams

Budgeting & Reporting

Plan and manage the marketing & communication budget

Track ROI, campaign performance, and media value

Present reports and insights to leadership

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of brand building, storytelling, and luxury/fashion marketing

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strategic thinking with strong execution capability

Experience in PR, media relations, and digital marketing

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines

Leadership, decision-making, and crisis management skills

Qualification & Experience

MBA / Master's in Marketing, Communication, or related field (preferred)

1015+ years of experience in marketing & communication

Prior experience in the fashion, luxury, lifestyle, or creative industry preferred

  • Proven experience handling high-visibility brands and campaigns.
