Head of Information Security

We are supporting a global financial services organisation in appointing a senior Information Security leader to drive security operations and capability development in India. This is a newly created role for a developing Global Capability Centre.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

• Lead and develop multidisciplinary security teams across Security Operations, Cyber Defence, IAM, Data Security and Enterprise Information Security.
• Drive security strategy, operational excellence and continuous technology modernization.
• Strengthen threat detection, incident response and vulnerability management.
• Partner with global security leadership and local stakeholders in a complex, matrix environment.
• Build high-performing teams and influence senior stakeholders across geographies.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

• Significant experience in cybersecurity leadership, with a strong technical foundation across multiple security domains.
• Proven track record of leading sizeable teams and developing other leaders.
• Experience managing cyber threats, incidents and security transformation.
• Strong global stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Financial services or regulated-industry experience preferred.
