Location: Noida

Reports to: VP of Product Development

As the CISO, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing TReDS information security strategy and ensuring the protection of its data, systems, and networks.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive information security strategy aligned with TReDS business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and implement security policies, standards, and procedures to mitigate risks and protect sensitive data.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the TReDS team and ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
  • Manage incident response processes and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to contain and mitigate security breaches.
  • Direct the monitoring of security systems and tools to detect and respond to threats.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and laws.
  • Direct regular audits and assessments to identify and address compliance gaps.
  • Provide guidance and support to business units to ensure compliance with security requirements.
  • Oversee identity, assessment and mitigation of security risks associated with TReDS operations, technology, and third-party relationships.
  • Develop and implement a risk management framework to prioritize and address security risks effectively.
  • Evaluate and manage security risks associated with third-party vendors and suppliers.
  • Ensure that vendors comply with TReDS security requirements and standards.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to team members to foster a culture of security awareness and excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or a related field.
  • Advanced certification in information security, such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
  • No less than 5 experience leading an information security team.
  • Strong understanding of information security frameworks, standards, and best practices, particularly those relevant to the financial sector in India.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective security programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of cloud security and data privacy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the fintech industry.
  • Knowledge of Indian data privacy laws, such as the Personal Data Protection Bill.
