Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Head of Influencer Marketing based in Mumbai. The successful candidate will lead the planning and execution of influencer marketing campaigns, including identifying, building, and maintaining strong relationships with influencers and the clients. Responsibilities include creating innovative strategies to amplify brand messaging, analyzing campaign performance, optimizing influencer partnerships, and staying updated with trends to drive growth and engagement. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals will be a key part of this role.

Key Responsibilities

Client Acquisition & Strategy

  • Lead the pitch process for prospective clients developing tailored influencer marketing strategies and presenting compelling proposals
  • Onboard new clients, service existing relationships and serve as the strategic lead throughout the campaign lifecycle
  • Leverage your existing network of influencers, talent managers, and brand contacts to unlock new opportunities and partnerships
  • Identify and develop new revenue opportunities within the influencer space

Campaign Oversight

  • Oversee multiple influencer campaigns from concept to execution across platforms
  • Ensure all campaigns align with brand goals, are delivered on time, and meet performance KPIs
  • Troubleshoot campaign issues and ensure consistent quality and creativity

Team Leadership

  • Build, manage, and mentor a team of influencer marketing executives and coordinators
  • Set clear team goals, workflows, and performance standards
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, paid media, and content teams

Partnership & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with top-tier influencers, talent agencies, and content creators
  • Negotiate influencer contracts, rates, and deliverables

Reporting & Optimization

  • Lead post-campaign analysis, reporting, and actionable insights
  • Continuously optimize influencer selection, content strategy, and campaign performance using data and feedback

Requirements

  • 7-9 years of experience in influencer marketing, preferably within an agency environment
  • Proven track record of successfully leading multi-brand influencer campaigns
  • Experience onboarding and pitching to clients directly
  • Strong network of influencer, brand, and talent agency contacts
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and grow high-performing teams
  • Deep understanding of influencer platforms and tools
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Strategic thinker with a creative and analytical mindset|
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • Experience in an advertising agency or media production environment is a plus
