Role Overview

The Growth Initiative Head at Univo Education will lead strategic initiatives focused on expanding partnerships, driving student acquisition, and enabling scalable revenue growth for online degree and upskilling programs offered in collaboration with university partners. The role requires a balance of strategic thinking, hands-on execution, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional leadership.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Growth Planning

  • Develop and execute Univo's long-term growth roadmap across domestic and international markets.
  • Identify emerging trends in online higher education, OPM (Online Program Management), edtech, and digital student acquisition.
  • Drive new business models, revenue streams, and market expansion opportunities.

2. Funnel, Enrollment & Revenue Growth

  • Own the complete student acquisition funnel, from leads to enrollment.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to optimize conversions.
  • Drive high-impact initiatives for CAC reduction, lead quality improvement, and LTV enhancement.

3. Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Establish KPIs and dashboards to track growth performance.
  • Use data insights to drive experimentation, optimize campaigns, and guide strategic projects.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking and market intelligence assessments.

4. Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Lead multi-disciplinary growth squads including marketing, sales, product, and academic ops.
  • Partner with tech/product teams to conceptualize and launch growth tools, CRM enhancements, and user experience improvements.
  • Ensure seamless execution of high-priority projects.

5. New Initiative Design & Execution

  • Conceptualize and execute initiatives such as:
  • New program launches
  • Market entry strategies (e.g., Middle East, Africa, South Asia)
  • B2B/B2C channel innovation
  • International student acquisition
  • Own pilot programs end-to-end, from hypothesis to scaling.

6. Stakeholder Management

  • Present business plans, forecasts, and performance updates to senior leadership.
  • Ensure alignment across University Partners, internal teams, and leadership.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of edtech, higher education ecosystems, OPM models.
  • Expertise in growth strategy, performance marketing, funnel optimisation, and P&L ownership.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analytics, dashboards, and market insights.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership abilities.
  • Ability to influence without authority and lead high-impact change initiatives.
  • 610 years of experience in growth, strategy, business development, or P&L roles.
  • Preferably from EdTech, Higher Education, Internet, Consulting, or Scaled Startups.
  • MBA or relevant postgraduate degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of scaling user acquisition or growth operations.
