Job Title: Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst / Manager

Job Summary: The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) professional at MSM Unify will play a pivotal role in driving financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. This role supports the organization's strategic objectives by delivering actionable financial insights and recommendations to senior management. The ideal candidate will act as a strategic business partnerensuring alignment between financial plans and business goals while enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning activities.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to support strategic decision-making.
- Conduct variance analysis, identify trends, and highlight key risks and opportunities.
- Prepare and present management reports, including KPI tracking and operational expenditure analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, Leadership) to align financial goals with business objectives.
- Support strategic initiatives such as mergers, acquisitions, and new investments through financial analysis and modeling.
- Provide commercial insights and challenge business performance to drive operational efficiency and profitability.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reports in collaboration with the Accounting team.
- Clearly communicate complex financial information and insights to senior management.
- Continuously enhance financial processes with a focus on automation, standardization, and reporting efficiency.
- (For Managerial Roles) Mentor and guide junior FP&A team members, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
Requirements
- CA, CMA, or advanced degree preferred (especially for managerial roles).
- 35+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, preferably in the technology, SaaS, or education sector.
- Strong expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial planning tools; experience with ERP or reporting systems is a plus.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statement analysis.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Highly detail-oriented with a strong problem-solving mindset and a results-driven approach.
- Proven ability to collaborate across teams and independently manage multiple priorities and projects.
