Why This Role Matters
As Head FP&A, you will own GoKwik's financial planning, performance management, and decision-support charter. This role is a key strategic partner to the founders and leadership team, enabling informed decision-making through robust financial discipline, insightful reporting, and scalable FP&A frameworks. You will play a central role in shaping GoKwik's growth trajectory, balancing speed with financial rigor, and ensuring leadership has clear visibility into business performance.
What You'll Own
- Own and drive annual operating plans, budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial models
- Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS to leadership, the Board, and investors
- Build and maintain management dashboards across revenue, margins, unit economics, CAC/LTV, and cost drivers
- Lead forecast-vs-actual variance analysis, translating findings into clear business insights and actions
- Drive financial performance reviews with founders and senior leadership
- Oversee cost planning, controls, and optimisation initiatives across the business
- Evaluate ROI on growth, product, and operational investments to inform strategic decisions
- Ensure accurate vendor-level provisions, cost allocation, and expense tagging
- Standardise and automate FP&A reports, models, and templates to improve speed and reliability
- Lead financial readiness for audits, Board meetings, and investor engagements
- Act as a strategic finance partner to functional and business heads, embedding finance into decision-making
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing FP&A team
- Serve as the primary finance point of contact for existing and prospective investors managing reporting, data requests, and communications, and supporting fundraises, due diligence, and investor presentations in close coordination with the founders
Who You Are
- 1215 years of experience in FP&A, business finance, or financial strategy roles
- Experience in high-growth fintech, SaaS, D2C, or consumer-tech environments
- Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and KPI frameworks
- Proven ability to partner with CXOs and influence decisions using data-backed insights
- Hands-on experience building scalable, automated MIS and reporting systems
- Strong commercial acumen with a balanced approach to growth and financial discipline
- Excellent communication and executive presentation skills
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in ambiguity
