VTOL Aviation India Pvt. Ltd. is a Made-in-India UAV and drone technology manufacturing company, engaged in the design, development, and production of advanced unmanned aerial platforms and mission-critical payloads.

With growing engagement in the Defence and government sector, VTOL is entering a phase of business expansion and new project execution, requiring strengthened financial governance, planning, and compliance leadership.

We are inviting a seasoned finance professional to be part of the Finance & Accounts department and support the organisation's scale-up journey.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Head Finance & Accounts will actively handle VTOL's financial operations, accounting, budgeting, cash flow management, and statutory compliance framework.

This is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring financial discipline, audit readiness, and liquidity planning in a growing, project-driven aerospace and defence manufacturing environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Planning & Control

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Manage cash flow and fund flow planning, ensuring liquidity and financial stability
• Support management with project costing, financial analysis, and decision support

Finance & Accounting Operations

• Oversee books of accounts and day-to-day finance operations
• Prepare monthly MIS, financial statements, and management reports
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in financial reporting

Statutory Compliance & Audit

• Ensure compliance with Companies Act, GST, Income Tax, TDS, PF, PT, ESIC, and applicable regulations
• Lead statutory audits, tax audits, and internal audits
• Coordinate with auditors internal and external, banks, and statutory authorities

Governance & Controls

• Establish and strengthen internal financial controls and documentation
• Ensure audit readiness and regulatory compliance across operations
• Support implementation of finance processes aligned with organisational growth

PREFERRED PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

We are seeking professionals with:

Finance & Compliance Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience in statutory compliance, taxation, and audit management
• Demonstrated capability in budgeting, cash flow, and fund flow management
• Solid understanding of project-based finance and manufacturing cost structures

Industry Exposure

• Prior experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defence, or project-driven organisations
• Exposure to government-linked or regulated environments is an advantage

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• CA /CFA/ CMA mandatory
• 8-10 years of progressive experience in Finance & Accounts
• Proven leadership experience managing finance functions end-to-end
• Strong analytical, organisational, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to operate in a high-growth, execution-focused environment
