About the Role:
As the Director Ecommerce, you will be responsible for overseeing the full profit and loss (P&L) of companies Web & App, accelerate the business
growth and enhance our customer experience (Store fulfillment & Click & collect)You will lead a team of category managers, catalog and master data resources, as well as supervising content creation (product content,
graphic & video assets to ensure accurate and dynamic day to day tradingYour primary objective will be to drive the growth and success of our ecommerce businesses, ensuring their alignment with our overall digital strategy. You will collabWork in collaboration with the Buying, Planning, Brand and Performance Marketing teams to develop and grow the ecommerce business and

Job Description:
Strategy and Planning:
● Develop and implement the ecommerce strategy in alignment with the overall organizational goals and objectives.
● Identify growth opportunities, market trends, and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the
ecommerce space.
● Create and execute strategic plans for company, outlining clear objectives, milestones, and KPIs
● Drive the day to day trading operations on our ecommerce website and apps
Financial Performance:
● Oversee the full P&L of the ecommerce brands, monitor financial performance, and take proactive measures to achieve revenue and
profitability targets
● Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive landscape to identify areas for growth and profitability improvement
● Develop and manage budgets, forecasting revenue and expenses accurately
Daily Trade
● Animate the website and app to ensure campaign & content freshness
● Bring to life weekly marketing omni campaigns (Web / App / email) in sync with the Brick & mortar business as well as driving exclusive
tactical online only campaigns
● Ensure smart merchandising of PLPs driving conversion & profitability
● Collaborate with Buying & planning to forecast all category sales and ensure 90%+ availabilityPlatform Development & optimization:
● Suggest UX/ UI optimizations
● Participate to UATs
● Launch in new Markets
Team Leadership and Management:
● Lead, and motivate a high-performing ecommerce team, providing clear direction and setting performance expectations.
● Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, encouraging professional development and growth opportunities for team members
● Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement training programs to enhance the team's skills and expertise
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
● Collaborate closely with marketing teams to develop effective digital marketing strategies, including SEO, AEO, GEO, SEM, Email Marketing,
and Social Media Campaigns, to drive traffic and conversion.
● Partner with category managers and merchandising teams to ensure effective product assortment, pricing strategies, and inventory
management
● Work closely with technology and IT teams to optimize the ecommerce platforms, enhance user experience, and ensure seamless integration
with other system
Data Analysis and Reporting:
● Utilize analytics tools and platforms to gather insights, measure performance, and track key metrics, such as conversion rates, average order
value, customer lifetime value, and customer acquisition cost.
● Generate regular reports and dashboards to provide visibility into ecommerce performance, identify trends, and make data-driven
recommendations for improvement.
Base Requirement:
5+ years in a similar ecommerce role
Minimum Experience and Knowledge:
• Bachelor's degree in business, ecommerce, marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven experience in managing MULTI-BRAND ecommerce businesses brands and driving their P&L performance.
• Strong understanding of growth / performance marketing, ecommerce technologies, and industry best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute ecommerce strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
• Strong business acumen, financial literacy, and budget management skills.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to
stakeholders at all levels.
• Prior experience in the retail industry or a similar consumer-focused industry is highly desirable.
Job-Specific Skills:
• 5 years+ Experience in driving growth for multi-brand ecommerce businesses with large catalogues and multiple brands
• Customer obsessed with a drive towards excellence
• Beauty & skincare experience is a plus
• Ability to animate a website and to launch omnichannel campaigns
• Experience launching and growing ecommerce business from sctatch
• Arabic would be a plus but not mandatory
• Strong understanding of ecommerce web and app platforms
• Strong understanding of supply chain and 3PL
• Can do attitude and change mindset and resilience are absolutely required
• Ability to motivate a team and increase quality and speed of execution
