The Head of E-Commerce will be responsible for leading and managing our e-commerce operations in India. This role requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record in driving online sales and enhancing the digital customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the overall e-commerce strategy to drive growth and profitability.
- Oversee the e-commerce platform, ensuring a seamless user experience and high conversion rates.
- Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and IT teams to enhance online presence and promotional campaigns.
- Manage the e-commerce budget and optimize spending for maximum ROI.
- Lead a team of e-commerce professionals, providing guidance and support for their development.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in e-commerce.
Skills and Qualifications
- 7-10 years of experience in e-commerce management or a related field.
- Proven track record of driving online sales and improving customer engagement.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce.
- Experience with digital marketing strategies including SEO, PPC, and social media marketing.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong project management capabilities and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with various stakeholders.
