Solar Mobility Hub (SMB) is building a platform to accelerate India's transition toward distributed solar energy.
We are integrating three powerful shifts happening simultaneously:
Rapid adoption of residential rooftop solar
Asset lifecycle management through structured buybacks and recycling
Our platform connects residential solar EPC partners, financing institutions, and distribution networks into one scalable ecosystem.
We are here to create a system-level shift in how households transition to clean energy and mobility.
The Role
We are looking for a Head of Distribution & Revenue to architect and scale the national partner ecosystem for residential solar adoption.
You will build the distribution architecture that connects:
Residential solar EPC partners
Installer networks
Channel partners
Regional sales networks
Critical Requirement (Please Read Carefully)
This position requires direct experience in the residential solar industry in India.
Applicants must have:
Experience working with a residential solar company / rooftop solar EPC
Proven success building channel partnerships and installer networks
Experience scaling dealer / distributor ecosystems
Profiles without direct residential solar industry exposure will not be considered.
Your Mission
Build and scale the distribution engine that drives SMB's residential solar platform across India.
You will own:
Channel strategy
Partner acquisition
Revenue growth
Distribution network expansion
Installer ecosystem development
Key Responsibilities
1 Build the Distribution Ecosystem
Onboard residential solar EPC partners
Develop installer and dealer networks
Structure partner incentive frameworks
Expand channel presence across cities
2 Drive Revenue Growth
Own revenue targets for the platform
Design scalable sales funnels
Monitor conversion metrics and partner productivity
3 Market Expansion
Identify high-potential cities and clusters
Develop go-to-market strategies for each region
Build strong local distribution presence
4 Strategic Partnerships
Build long-term relationships with solar EPC companies
Collaborate with EV OEMs and dealers
Align financing partners and installers
5 Distribution Economics
Structure partner margins
Ensure CAC discipline
Build scalable revenue systems
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are looking for a builder of ecosystems.
7+ years of experience in the residential rooftop solar industry
Proven experience in channel partnership development
Experience working with solar EPC companies or installers
Strong understanding of the Indian residential solar market
Track record of scaling distribution or partner networks
Strong advantage if you have experience working with:
Rooftop solar EPC firms
Solar inverter/module distribution companies
Residential solar marketplaces
Solar financing programs
