Role Overview
We are looking for a Head of Digital Marketing from a D2C or EdTech environment who has built and scaled digital marketing functions from 0 to 1. This leader will own ROI, performance marketing, brand growth, and lead generation, while building and managing a 4-member digital marketing team.
This role requires a hands-on growth leader who understands high-velocity funnels, paid media at scale, and brand building in competitive consumer or EdTech markets.
Key Responsibilities
1. 01 Digital Marketing Setup
- Build the digital marketing engine from scratchstrategy, tools, KPIs, attribution, and reporting.
- Define scalable growth and experimentation frameworks suited for D2C / EdTech funnels.
- Establish performance dashboards and governance.
2. Performance Marketing & ROI Ownership
- Own end-to-end marketing ROI, CAC, CPL, ROAS, LTV, and revenue attribution.
- Lead paid marketing across Google, Meta, YouTube, LinkedIn, and relevant EdTech/D2C platforms.
- Continuously optimize creatives, landing pages, and conversion journeys.
3. Lead Generation & Funnel Optimization
- Drive high-quality leads / enrollments / transactions aligned to revenue goals.
- Improve funnel metrics from impression click lead conversion.
- Work closely with Sales / Counsellors / Growth teams to maximize conversion rates.
4. Brand & Growth Marketing
- Build and scale a strong digital brand presence in competitive markets.
- Oversee content, SEO, social, influencer, and video marketing.
- Balance performance-led growth with long-term brand equity.
5. Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a 4-member digital marketing team (performance, content, SEO, creatives).
- Drive ownership, accountability, and a test-and-learn culture.
- Hire and scale the team as the function grows.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Product, Sales, Growth, and Leadership teams.
- Translate business goals into measurable digital outcomes.
- Present insights, ROI, and growth plans to leadership.
Must-Have Experience
- 812 years in Digital Marketing, with D2C or EdTech background mandatory.
- Proven success in scaling digital marketing from early stage to growth.
- Strong hands-on experience in performance marketing and funnel optimization.
- Experience owning revenue-linked KPIs.
- Prior experience leading small to mid-sized teams.
