Define and drive the UX/UI vision, design principles, and strategy for Video/VMS product portfolio.
Build, scale, and lead (organically or inorganically) a high-performing team of product designers, interaction and visual designers.
Establish and maintain a Design System for consistency across platforms (desktop client, web, mobile, edge devices).
Product Experience & Delivery
Translate complex enterprise workflows (e.g., surveillance monitoring, AI-driven alerts, dashboards, system configuration) into intuitive, usable interfaces.
Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to ensure design requirements are embedded in product roadmaps
Oversee the design of dashboards, analytics views, video playback experiences, and admin/configuration tools
Work closely with engineering teams to review feasibility of designs, identify technical trade-offs, and refine workflows without compromising usability.
Participate in sprint planning and backlog grooming to embed design deliverables into the agile process
Partner with QA to validate user flows and UI behaviour during testing cycles
Conduct usability testing, prototyping, and rapid iteration to validate designs with endusers.
Research & Customer Focus
Represent the voice of the customer across internal teams, driving customer-centric design and features. Champion user research (interviews, shadowing operators, observing workflows in smart cities, airports, and enterprises).
Use insights to inform product usability improvements and customer-centric design choices.
Establish metrics for design quality (task completion, ease of use, track adoption rates along with Product Managers).
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Product management team on strategy, roadmap, and prioritization.
Work closely with Engineering & Technology to ensure design feasibility and delivery at scale.
Collaborate with Marketing on brand consistency across digital touchpoints and customer communications.
Key Requirements
Must-Have :
8-12 years of professional experience, with at least 4+ years in design leadership roles in a product organization.
