Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Department of Management, providing strategic direction and management oversight.
  • Support faculty in curriculum development and coordinate academic programs to ensure quality education.
  • Foster a positive learning environment and promote student engagement and success.
  • Conduct research, publish findings, and present at conferences to enhance the academic reputation of the department.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to support the university's mission and goals.
  • Manage departmental budgets, resources, and personnel effectively.
  • Oversee student assessments, evaluations, and feedback mechanisms to continuously enhance the quality of education.
  • Engage with industry partners to create opportunities for internships and placements for students.
  • Participate in academic and administrative meetings representing the department and its interests.
  • Support faculty in professional development and career advancement opportunities.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Management or related field from a recognized institution.
  • Significant academic background and proven research capability in Management.
  • Strong understanding of educational policies, standards, and practices relevant to higher education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and lead faculty and students alike.

Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of academic experience in Management Studies, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in curriculum design and program accreditation processes.
  • Proven track record in securing research funding and publishing in reputable journals.
  • Familiarity with contemporary challenges in Management education and ability to innovate solutions.
