Role Summary: The client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Cyber Lead to drive the execution of the strategic cybersecurity roadmap. The ideal candidate will serve as a key leader, overseeing cybersecurity initiatives, collaborating with global stakeholders, and ensuring robust protection of organizational assets. This role requires a visionary approach, strong technical expertise, and proven leadership in managing cybersecurity operations at scale.
Requirement:
- 18+ years of progressive leadership experience in Cyber Security, Information Security, Technology Risk, or related disciplines within large, complex enterprises, preferably in banking or financial services.
- Proven experience leading enterprise-scale cybersecurity programs, including security operations, incident response, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong understanding of global cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, and relevant regulatory expectations (e.g., FFIEC, RBI, OCC or equivalent).
- Demonstrated ability to build, scale, and lead high-performing teams in a global delivery or offshore model.
- Experience working with senior executives, regulators, auditors, and cross-functional stakeholders with the ability to influence without authority.
- Hands-on familiarity with modern security technologies, including cloud security, identity and access management, threat intelligence, SOC operations, and vulnerability management.
- Strong governance, risk, and control mindset with experience establishing operating models, metrics, and reporting framework
