About the Role:
As the Head of Content at OnceHub, you will be the foundational leader responsible for defining, building, and executing a winning content strategy that captures and engages our global B2B audience. This is a highly strategic and fast-paced leadership role perfect for a self-starter who thrives on driving initiatives from conception to execution.
You will report directly to the Chief-Go-to-Market Officer and play a critical role in supporting OnceHub's brand narrative and growth targets by ensuring all company content is clear, compelling, and sets our users up for success.
Crucial Time Zone Requirement: This role requires you to work with stakeholders in the US. You must be available to work until at least 12:00 PM Eastern Time (9:30 PM IST) to ensure adequate overlap with US business hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and Own Strategy: Define, implement, and own a comprehensive content strategy aligned with business objectives, maximizing content reach and impact across all channels.
- Build and Lead the Department: Recruit, manage, mentor, and lead a high-performing Content department, setting the standards for high-quality, high-velocity content creation.
- High-Volume Creation & Oversight: Personally contribute to crafting quick, clever copy and developing storytelling narratives, while overseeing the team's portfolio to ensure a consistent, daily output of top-tier content.
- Drive SEO Performance: Partner closely with the Head of SEO to integrate the latest SEO strategies and best practices, driving organic traffic, visibility, and measurable results.
- Content Collateral Development: Develop and maintain essential collateral for global new and existing customers, including playbooks, whitepapers, onboarding materials, business review elements, and templates.
- Product Expertise: Obtain a deep understanding of OnceHub's products and services to translate complex product information into simple, polished, and engaging content that is user-friendly.
- Quality & Trend Mastery: Assume responsibility for ensuring all company content retains the highest quality standard, demonstrating a deep understanding of market trends and the content that effectively engages our target audience.
- Performance Measurement: Track, analyze, and report on content effectiveness to make data-driven decisions that continuously improve and optimize the content strategy.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Experience & Tenure: Minimum of five years of experience in journalism, copywriting, or content creation roles, ideally within a B2B SaaS or technology environment.
- Proven Stability: You have a history of staying with previous companies for longer than 2-3 years and are looking for a multi-year journey where you can grow with the company.
- Journalistic Foundation: At least two years of journalism experience or similar, demonstrating the ability to write copy under pressure in a fast-paced environment and work toward daily targets.
- Education: A tertiary qualification (degree) in Communication, Copywriting, Advertising, Marketing, or a related field.
- Subject Matter Expert: Strong foundational understanding of content writing and the ability to serve as the subject matter expert on all content topics.
- Communication: Superior English written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to clarity and precision.
- Project Management: Proven ability to handle multiple, simultaneous projects with a strong eye for prioritization and meeting deadlines.
- Technical Acumen: High computer literacy and the ability to quickly learn and master new software and technology.
