My client is a leading and growing Global Bank and we are recruiting for a Head of Compliance to be based in the India office. You will be given the opportunity to take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls across all activities covered by the role.
Responsibilities for this Head of Compliance - Retail Bank, India role
- Partner with Compliance leadership to identify activities suitable for offshore support and lead the setup and delivery of centres of excellence.
- Provide subjectmatter expertise on retail banking products
- Deliver ongoing training, education, and technical support to uplift capability and consistency.
- Manage senior stakeholder relationships to ensure effective matrix management of Compliance teams in India.
- Contribute to the growth and value proposition of the Compliance India hub as a member of its leadership team.
Requirements for this Head of Compliance - Retail Bank, India role
- 15+ years in senior compliance roles, preferably in global banks covering retail banking.
- Strong seniorlevel stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- Proven people leadership, performance management, and talent development capability.
- Solid understanding of UK retail banking and seniorlevel Compliance & Risk Management.
