Job Description

  • Cross-selling commodities to existing equity, HNI and wealth client base.
  • Building a research-and-advisory engine that publishes high-quality calls across bullion, energy, base metals and agri.
  • Activating the PAN-India branch network, Progress Partners (APs) and sub-broker channel (1000 partners).
  • Driving structured marketing and brand-building specifically in the commodities space.
  • Expanding the product surface (commodity options, hedging desks for corporates, algo / strategy products).
  • Doing all of the above within strict risk, margin and SEBI / exchange compliance guardrails.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Commodities should have:

  • A strong educational background in finance, economics, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in commodities trading and management within the Banking & Financial Services industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of market trends, trading platforms, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
