Job Title: Head of Business GoSchool

Role Overview

The Head of Business GoSchool is responsible for leading and managing the organization's overall business operations, ensuring seamless coordination across all functions. This role requires a balance of strategic leadership and operational execution, with a strong focus on driving growth, operational efficiency, financial discipline, and high-quality academic delivery.

The incumbent will oversee end-to-end operations across academics, administration, sales, and support functions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and maintaining a high standard of performance across all areas.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Operations & Strategy

  • Lead and manage day-to-day operations across all departments, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies, systems, and processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and accountability.
  • Identify operational gaps and proactively implement corrective measures.
  • Ensure alignment of all functions with organizational objectives and growth plans.

2. Financial Management

  • Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and cash flow management.
  • Monitor fee collections, outstanding receivables, and vendor payments.
  • Ensure financial discipline across departments and adherence to budgets.
  • Optimize costs and improve financial visibility for informed decision-making.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders for accurate financial reporting.

3. Human Resource Management

  • Manage the complete employee lifecycle in coordination with the central HR team.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, role structuring, and performance management.
  • Ensure clarity in roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations.
  • Drive employee engagement, retention, and a positive work culture.
  • Address employee concerns and ensure effective resolution.

4. Sales & Marketing

  • Lead the marketing and admissions strategy to drive student enrollments and revenue growth.
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns across relevant channels.
  • Manage lead generation funnels and track conversion metrics.
  • Work closely with the admissions team to ensure timely follow-ups and effective communication with prospective parents.
  • Continuously refine strategies to improve conversion rates and achieve targets.

5. Academic Operations

  • Collaborate with the academic team to ensure smooth planning and execution of classes.
  • Oversee scheduling, teacher allocation, student batch formation, and delivery quality.
  • Ensure consistency in academic experience and proactively resolve operational challenges impacting academics.
  • Monitor and support the implementation of academic plans.

6. Vendor & Partner Management

  • Manage relationships with external vendors and partners.
  • Oversee onboarding, negotiations, service quality, and performance monitoring.
  • Ensure timely payments and adherence to agreed terms.
  • Maintain strong partnerships to support operational needs.

7. Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Act as a central point of coordination between management, teachers, parents, and internal teams.
  • Ensure clear, transparent, and timely communication across all stakeholders.
  • Address concerns, resolve issues, and maintain strong relationships.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive organizational environment.
