Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end finance operations including accounting, treasury, taxation, and compliance.
- Act as a strategic partner to the founder and leadership team on financial and people-related decisions.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and review MIS reports, dashboards, and financial analysis for leadership and board reviews.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and audit requirements (Income Tax, GST, TDS, statutory audits, internal audits).
- Drive processes, internal controls, and financial discipline across functions.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team; provide oversight to HR operations staff.
- Oversee HR operations, including payroll, benefits administration, and statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, gratuity, labour laws).
- Work closely with HR/People teams on headcount planning, compensation structures, and workforce cost management.
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and reconciliation with finance systems.
- Support leadership on performance management, incentive plans, and ESOP/long-term incentive structures (if applicable).
- Ensure adherence to HR policies, internal governance, and compliance frameworks.
Qualifications & Experience
- CA / MBA in Finance or equivalent qualification.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in business finance, FPNA, corporate finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in finance operations, FP&A, statutory compliance, and team leadership.
- Deep understanding of India GAAP.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-cultural communication skills.
