What you will do:
- Own the global bid management function end-to-end — from opportunity qualification to submission and post-bid debriefs across RFI, RFP, RFQ, DDQs, and security questionnaires.
- Drive win strategy for enterprise pursuits, partnering closely with Sales, Presales, Product, Legal, Finance, Security, and Leadership teams.
- Establish scalable bid processes and governance — standardized frameworks, templates, knowledge repositories, and review mechanisms to ensure high-quality, compliant submissions.
- Lead high-stakes strategic bids and ensure proposals clearly articulate Darwinbox's value (AI-driven capabilities, global scalability, integrations, compliance strengths).
- Improve win rates and cycle times by introducing structured qualification, storytelling, competitive positioning, and continuous improvement practices.
- Build and mentor a high-performing bid team (proposal managers, writers, coordinators), including capacity planning for peak volumes.
- Ensure compliance and risk management across geographies (data privacy, regulatory, contractual requirements).
- Leverage tools and automation (AI/RFP tools, knowledge systems) to improve efficiency and consistency.
- Coordinate cross-functional inputs across time zones, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Track and report performance metrics such as win rates, response time, bid quality, and contribution to contracted ARR.
What you will need:
- 12+ years of experience in bid/proposal management, with significant exposure to enterprise SaaS or B2B technology environments.
- Proven leadership experience managing and scaling bid teams for complex global deals.
- Strong track record of winning large enterprise and strategic bids.
- Deep understanding of RFP processes, commercial constructs, compliance, and contract considerations.
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth SaaS environments with global sales cycles.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across Sales, Product, Legal, Finance, and Security teams.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills — persuasive, structured, and client-centric.
- Strong program management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple high-priority pursuits simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset with focus on metrics, continuous improvement, and efficiency.
- Familiarity with bid management tools, content systems, and AI-enabled proposal solutions is a strong advantage.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree is a plus.
