Head of Applications (HOD) - Insurance

Location: Pune or Trivandrum

18-23 years

Fulltime with MNC

Must have:

1- Handling team size of 400-500

2 - Strong experience IT Applications

3 - Deep experience within Insurance industry, within GCCs preferred

4 - Solid & proven Experience in application delivery

The Head of Applications India is the leader of the equally titled teams based in Trivandrum and Pune, which are part of the client's Technology product area or Applications. He/she is end-to-end accountable for overseeing and managing all aspects of the delivery operations, ensuring the successful execution and delivery of projects within agreed timelines and quality standards. He/she is directly reporting to the member of the Executive Management Team of client's Technology, responsible for Applications.

Effectively and efficiently steer Applications India team, and operate as trusted Lead with E2E accountability for the delivery and operations of all related client's Technology internal service offerings along with responsibility for the associated internal and external customers P&L

Develop and implement strategies to drive operational efficiency, optimize resource allocation and improve project delivery processes in collaboration senior internal stakeholders and customers

Closely collaborate with Vertical Leads in App, Head of App1 / App2 India, and CTOs to identify and leverage synergies.

Drive client's Technology transformation programs to ensure successful delivery on company ambitions and objectives

Foster a culture of excellence & continuous improvement within the delivery center, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing

Act as a spokesperson for Applications 1/2 India, representing the company at industry events and customer meetings

Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge

Develop and communicate a compelling vision and strategy for App1 / App2 India, aligning it with the company's overall goals
