Position Summary

The Head of Aftersales/Customer Service will assume strategic and operational responsibility for all post-sales functions, including service delivery, spare parts management, warranty administration, and technical support. This role requires a leader with both technical depth and commercial acumen, capable of driving customer satisfaction, service profitability, and operational efficiency across diverse geographies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership to Aftersales and Customer Service teams across Field Operations.
  • Develop and implement customer support strategies that enhance satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.
  • Oversee spare parts distribution, warranty processes, maintenance contracts, and technical service functions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging digital tools, predictive maintenance, and service innovations.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry partners.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards across all service operations.
  • Mentor and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, technical excellence, and customer focus.

The Successful Applicant

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in Aftersales/Customer Service within Construction Equipment, Industrial Machinery, or Heavy Equipment industries.
  • Strong technical foundation with exposure to Mechanical systems, Electrical engineering, and Electronics relevant to heavy machinery.
  • Proven track record of enhancing customer satisfaction and driving service revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic mindset combined with hands-on operational execution capability.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, global business environment.
