About the Role
You will be responsible fordriving advertiser revenue and onboarding brands onto the AdX Reels platform. This role combinesdigital ad sales and advertiser onboarding, ensuring brands not only sign contracts but also successfully launch campaigns and achieve early performance results.
You will work closely with internal strategy, content, creator, and performance teams to deliver high-impact campaigns across reels, video, and digital inventory.
Key ResponsibilitiesRevenue & Sales Ownership
- Drive revenue through the sale of reel-based video, display, and integrated digital advertising solutions
- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets with consistent deal closures
- Identify, pitch, negotiate, and close advertising partnerships with brands and agencies
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline and revenue forecast
Advertiser Onboarding & Activation
- Own advertiser onboarding from contract signing to first live campaign
- Educate advertisers on platform setup, targeting, creatives, tracking, and measurement
- Design onboarding journeys, checklists, and launch guides to reduce time-to-first-campaign
- Ensure advertisers understand brand safety policies and platform guidelines
- Monitor early campaign performance and guide advertisers for optimization
Client Strategy & Solutions
- Understand client business objectives and translate them into branding and performance-driven campaign solutions
- Develop innovative campaign ideas using reels, creators, influencers, and performance media
- Create and present pitch decks, media plans, and customized proposals aligned with client goals
Relationship & Account Management
- Build long-term relationships with brands, agencies, and key decision-makers
- Act as a trusted advisor to ensure repeat business and upsell opportunities
- Handle objections professionally and close deals using value-based selling
Campaign Collaboration & Execution
- Collaborate with internal teams (strategy, content, influencer, performance, operations) for smooth campaign execution
- Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with agreed KPIs
- Share campaign insights to improve ROI and client satisfaction
Market & Industry Intelligence
- Stay updated on digital advertising trends, reels/short-video formats, and ad-tech platforms
- Identify new monetization opportunities and innovative ad formats in short-video ecosystems
- Generate insights from campaign data to refine sales and media strategies
Success Metrics (First 6 Months)
- Revenue closed and monthly sales targets achieved
- Number of active advertisers onboarded and activated
- Time-to-first-campaign for new advertisers
- Advertiser retention and repeat spend
- Average deal size and upsell revenue
- Client satisfaction and campaign performance benchmarks
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
- 38+ years of experience in digital ad sales, media sales, ad-tech, or agency sales
- Proven experience selling branding and performance-driven campaigns
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and client relationship management skills
- Ability to sell integrated digital solutions (Reels, Video, Influencer, Paid Media, Content)
- Understanding of digital advertising fundamentals (targeting, creatives, tracking, optimization)
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret campaign performance metrics
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment
Nice-to-Have (Preferred)
- Experience with reels, short-video platforms, creator or influencer advertising
- Familiarity with ad-tech and reporting tools (analytics dashboards, media planning tools)
- Experience working with agencies and enterprise brand accounts
- Exposure to Google Ads, Meta Ads, programmatic video, or DSP platforms
- Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho
