Head Marine Design Structures

The Head – Marine Designer / Marine Structures Designer will be responsible for leading and managing the design and engineering of marine infrastructure projects including Berths, Breakwaters, Jetties, and other port-related structures. The role involves overseeing design development, ensuring technical compliance, coordinating with project teams, and delivering safe, efficient, and cost-effective marine structural solutions.

• Lead the design and engineering of marine structures such as Berths, Breakwaters, Jetties, Quay Walls, and Port Infrastructure.


• Develop conceptual, preliminary, and detailed structural designs for marine infrastructure projects.


• Review and approve design calculations, drawings, and technical reports.


• Ensure designs comply with international and national codes, standards, and project specifications.


• Coordinate with project management, construction teams, consultants, and clients during design and execution phases.


• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the marine design team.


• Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and value engineering for marine projects.


• Support tendering and proposal preparation by providing technical inputs and design concepts.


• Ensure timely delivery of design outputs as per project schedules.


• Review geotechnical, hydrodynamic, and environmental data for marine structure design.


• Ensure quality control in structural analysis and design documentation.


• Participate in client meetings and technical discussions.

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering / Marine Engineering.


• 15+ years of experience in marine infrastructure design.


• Proven experience in designing Berths, Breakwaters, Jetties, and Port Structures.


• Experience in leading marine design teams for large infrastructure projects.
