Job Description

Reporting to the Business Head - Renewable Business, you will:

  • Lead manufacturing excellence initiatives across glass, aluminium extrusion, and EVA/backsheet plants.
  • Develop comprehensive business process manuals, SOPs, and value stream maps across manufacturing operations.
  • Establish strong documentation control systems aligned with global standards.
  • Drive compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and renewable industry certifications.
  • Institutionalize structured deviation management, CAPA systems, and layered process audits.
  • Implement Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, SPC, and continuous improvement programs across plants.
  • Drive process capability improvement, yield optimization, and reduction of process variation.
  • Train plant teams in process discipline, quality assurance, and structured problem-solving.
  • Partner with Plant Heads, Quality, EHS, and Supply Chain teams to ensure process alignment.
  • Establish governance frameworks including dashboards, KPIs, and process capability metrics.

The Successful Applicant

  • Holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, Chemical, Metallurgical, or Industrial).
  • MBA or postgraduate qualification in Operations / Quality preferred.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification strongly preferred.
  • Brings 18-25 years of experience in manufacturing environments within glass, metals, polymers, or renewable materials.
  • Proven track record in process documentation, certification audits, and manufacturing transformation.
  • Strong expertise in Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, and operational excellence frameworks.
  • Demonstrates strong stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and change leadership skills.
