Job Description Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategy for the Large Format Retail (LFR/LFS) channel to achieve revenue targets.
- Manage end-to-end key account relationships including buying, merchandising, VM, and store operations teams.
- Drive E-commerce sales by managing brand presence, listings, pricing, cataloguing, and promotional campaigns across major online platforms.
- Lead seasonal range planning and buying discussions; align on OTB, sell-through targets, and replenishment cycles.
- Negotiate trading terms, margins, space allocation, and promotional support to ensure commercially favorable agreements.
- Coordinate with internal teams (merchandising, supply chain, design) for timely product availability and order fulfillment.
- Monitor sell-through, stock ageing, and category performance; take corrective actions such as markdowns, swaps, or promotions.
- Ensure strong in-store brand visibility through planogram compliance, shop-in-shop setups, and VM audits.
- Build and lead the LFR/E-commerce sales team; define KPIs, conduct reviews, and drive team performance.
- Collaborate with marketing teams on campaigns, seasonal sales, and digital promotions; align on GTM calendar.
Candidate Requirements
- MBA/PGDM in Sales, Marketing, or Retail Management (preferred) or equivalent experience.
- 1014 years of experience in wholesale/channel sales in fashion/apparel.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in managing LFR/LFS accounts.
- Strong commercial acumen with expertise in MIS, sell-through analysis, and advanced Excel.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proven team management and leadership experience.
Preferred Skills
- Strong network with buyers and merchandising teams across major retail chains.
- Understanding of fashion retail cycles, seasonal planning, and OTB management.
- Experience in handling E-commerce platforms and driving online sales.
- Ability to manage escalations, supply challenges, and trade conflicts independently.
- Familiarity with retail tech tools and vendor management systems is a plus.
