Purpose of this Role
Own and Drive IT Infrastructure Implementation for Amara Raja Li-Ion Giga Factory Evaluate and Deploy world class IT Infrastructure for supporting Digital Factory Requirements including Networks, Data Centers, Server and End User Computing, Audio-Video Support IT Automation teams to deploy High Performance Systems and Shop Floor Automation tools and technologies Drive ITIL rollout to achieve predictable delivery within well defined SLAs.
About Role
- Work with Vendors/Consultants to Build understanding of IT Infrastructure required for Li-Ion Gigafactory
- Work with multiple Vendors to Design IT Infrastructure Architecture including Data Center, Network LAN and WAN, OT Network, Audio Video etc
- Provide Inputs and design specifications to Civil, Electrical Teams on IT Infrastructure Requirements
- Manage Multiple IT Infra Projects to implement the IT Infrastructure with quality to budget and schedule
- Work with Business and IT Automation teams to build IT Infrastructure specifications for MES, PLM and Other Shop floor Automation Systems
- Work with IT Security team to deploy IT and IT Security tools to safeguard the infrastructure and applications
- Deploy advanced tools and processes to automate infrastructure monitoring and management
- Manage IT Infra Budgets to Utilize Capex effectively and minimize Opex Spend
- Define IT Standards and Best Practice Security Processes for IT Projects and Support and ensure Compliance
- Explore Cloud and other technologies to drive 24*7 mobility
- Develop relationship with Vendors to drive timely delivery on Projects and support assignments
- Work with other Group IT Shared Service teams to deploy existing IT Systems and Processes
- Drive Compliance to ISMS Policies and Procedures, ISO 27001 and other applicable standard
- Develop Industry Connects and Subscribe to required IT forums to develop industry best practices and procedures
- Build strong BCP/DR, Near DR and Far DR Capabilities and drive redundancy to achieve > 99.9% uptime
Qualification Required for this Role
Qualification : BE (Computers), MCA, MBA Preferred
Experience Required for this role:18 yrs
Experience required for this role :IT Infrastructure Management experience in a complex IT Environment
