Strategic & Operational Management
- Develop and execute the horticulture strategy, annual plans, and maintenance schedules.
- Lead all landscaping and horticultural operations, including garden development, lawns, nurseries, plantations, and tree care.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and municipal regulations.
Landscape Development & Design
- Collaborate with architects, landscape designers, and project teams to implement horticulture plans.
- Review and approve plant selection, irrigation systems, and soil management techniques.
- Ensure aesthetic alignment with organizational brand and project vision.
Maintenance & Quality Control
- Oversee pruning, trimming, fertilization, pest management, irrigation, and seasonal plantation activities.
- Implement best practices for plant health, disease control, and green sustainability.
- Monitor quality standards for lawns, shrubs, trees, and decorative gardens.
Team Leadership & Training
- Lead and supervise horticulturists, gardeners, maintenance staff, and contractors.
- Organize training on horticulture techniques, safety, and equipment handling.
- Conduct regular staff performance evaluations.
Budgeting & Vendor Management
- Prepare and manage annual budgets for landscaping, maintenance, and procurement.
- Evaluate and manage vendors for plants, fertilizers, pesticides, equipment, and outsourced services.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure cost optimization without compromising quality.
Sustainability & Innovation
- Implement water-efficient irrigation systems, organic gardening, and eco-friendly pest control.
- Introduce innovative horticulture practices, automation tools & green technologies.
- Drive tree plantation initiatives, biodiversity enhancement, and carbon footprint reduction programs.
Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, Botany, or related field.
- 1015+ years of experience in horticulture, landscaping, or estate management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of plant species, soil science, irrigation systems, and climatebased plantation.
- Expertise in pest and disease management.
- Experience working with large landscapes, commercial properties, institutions, or urban development projects.
