  1. Project Execution & Timely Completion
  1. Develop and implement a Master Execution Plan (MEP) covering civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and refractory work.
  2. Monitor project milestones and critical path activities using project management tools like Primavera/MS Project.
  3. Ensure site mobilization, material availability, and workforce readiness at all execution stages.
  4. Resolve bottlenecks proactively by coordinating with internal stakeholders and contractors.
  5. Maintain strict adherence to project schedules, minimizing time overruns.

  1. Optimal coordination and performance of EPC contractors, OEMs, and technology licensors
  1. Finalize contractor selection based on technical and commercial evaluation.
  2. Conduct kick-off meetings and periodic performance reviews with all contractors.
  3. Establish Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to define key deliverables and penalties for delays.
  1. Safety, Quality & Regulatory Compliance
  1. Implement strict EHS policies aligned with Indian industrial safety standards.
  2. Ensure zero accidents and lost-time injuries (LTIs) through a behavior-based safety (BBS) approach.
  3. Implement ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 45001 (Safety), and ISO 14001 (Environmental) standards.
  4. Conduct internal and external safety inspections and ensure compliance with Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB) guidelines.

  1. Project Execution (CAPEX & OPEX)
  1. Implement a real-time cost monitoring system to track project expenditures.
  2. Identify and control cost overruns through value engineering and efficient resource allocation.
  3. Optimize procurement strategies to avoid cost escalations.
  4. Conduct periodic budget reviews with finance and procurement teams.
  5. Negotiate with vendors and contractors to minimize cost escalations.

  1. Integration of new copper manufacturing process
  • o. Work closely with Process Engineering and R&D teams to define process flow and integration points.
  • Ensure seamless commissioning of FSF, PSC, SAP, and associated auxiliary plants.
  • Oversee automation, SCADA, and DCS system integration.
  • Coordinate with OEMs and technology licensors to resolve technical issues.
  • Conduct pre-commissioning and validation tests to ensure process efficiency
  1. Procurement & Logistics
  1. Develop a material delivery schedule aligned with the execution plan.
  2. Work with procurement to avoid delays in long-lead equipment procurement.
  3. Optimize on-site material storage and movement to reduce congestion.
  4. Address supply chain disruptions through alternate vendor selection and contingency planning.
  1. Pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover to the Operations team
  1. Develop a structured commissioning plan for all process units.
  2. Conduct dry runs, performance tests, and full-load trials.
  3. Ensure all testing, inspection, documentation, safety checks, and approvals are completed before startup.
  4. Provide a knowledge transfer roadmap for Operations teams.
