Role Overview:
We're looking for a Head D2C to own and drive our direct-to-consumer business. This is a P&L ownership role combining growth strategy, performance marketing, platform management, and cross-functional leadership
Key Responsibilities:
P&L Management:
- Create & deliver growth plans for our D2C platforms. Overall, in charge of D2C business delivery.
- Driving performance on all performance-marketing channels such as Facebook and Google, as well as organic, direct and affiliate sources of revenue and traffic.
- Oversee operation of own websites, app(s), content platform(s) and any other digital D2C initiatives, leading up to metrics around sales, traffic, engagement, LTV/CAC and NPS.
Customer Experience:
- Deliver customer delight through on-site and off-site interventions.
- Own site optimization and A/B testing to deliver conversion growth.
- Drive product content and user-generated content optimization.
Performance Marketing, Retention, Organic Growth:
- Ownership of customer retention marketing activities and merchandising strategy for scaling up revenue.
- Run an effective acquisition funnel with diversified acquisition sources, and strong customer loyalty.
- Plan and deliver on retention targets within time and budget with focus on key channels such as Email, SMS & Push Notifications
Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with the brand teams, supply chain teams and other stakeholders in the value chain on all aspects related to growth, sales, content and creatives
People Management:
- Create a supportive and collaborative environment in which team members are coached, trained and provided with opportunities through development.
- Hire & build a highly passionate and self-driven team internally to sustainably and profitably grow the D2C business for the brands
Desired Candidate Profile:
- 8 –12 years in D2C, e-commerce, or consumer-brand roles with demonstrable P&L responsibility.
- Hands-on expertise in performance marketing (Meta, Google) and marketplace operations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and work in high-pressure situations.
- Strong analytical skills: comfortable with dashboards, cohort analysis, and unit economics.
Preferred
- Background in nutraceuticals, wellness, OTC healthcare, or FMCG.
- Experience building subscription or replenishment models.
- Familiarity with regulatory nuances around health/nutrition claims.
