Job Description: Head Corporate HR
Location: Mumbai
Reports to: CHRO STL
Role Purpose:
The Head Corporate HR will act as the strategic partner to Corporate Functions and play a central role in aligning people strategy to business priorities. A key mandate is driving HR transformation initiatives, AI-in-HR integration, and building a future-ready, data-driven HR capability across STL globally.
Key Responsibilities:
A. Strategic HR Business Partnering
- Partner with corporate leaders to understand business strategy, workforce needs, and operating models.
- Translate business priorities into HR outcomes: workforce planning, productivity, talent strategy, cost optimization, and organization design.
- Drive high-performance culture, leadership capability, and succession planning for corporate functions.
- Ensure consistent employee experience across global corporate teams.
B. HR Transformation & AI Integration
- Lead transformation of HR processes through digitalization and AI-based solutions.
- Embed AI tools across the HR lifecycle:
- Workforce planning and forecasting
- Org structure analysis
- Talent risk analytics
- Engagement tracking
- Hiring prioritization and workforce productivity insights
- Support the CHRO in executing the AI-first HR operating framework for STL.
- Co-lead implementation of HRMS upgrades, AI plug-ins, predictive dashboards, and digital employee experience tools.
- Govern change management and adoption across corporate functions.
C. Talent, Culture & Leadership Development
- Partner with COEs to run Talent Reviews, 9-Box, leadership assessment cycles, and development journeys.
- Drive culture anchoring for corporate teams aligned to STL's values (Promises Delivered, Respect & Empathize, Hunger to Learn, Keep It Simple).
- Create capability-building programs for corporate teams
D. Performance, Rewards & Workforce
- Partner with Performance & Rewards COE to drive:
- Goal setting, KRAs for corporate teams
- Performance calibration
- Ensure workforce governance (policies, compliance, audits).
- Lead manpower budgeting, cost governance and optimization initiatives
E. Data, Insights & Predictive Analytics
- Continue building data-driven HR model using people analytics.
- Partner with Analytics & HR Tech to build executive dashboards
- Org design and workforce productivity roadmap.
F. Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI)
- Lead STL's enterprise-wide DEI strategy.
- Design and implement DEI frameworks covering gender, generational diversity, cultural diversity, PwD inclusion, and leadership representation.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to drive diverse hiring mandates and inclusive selection processes.
- Own DEI metrics, dashboards, and reporting; track progress and ensure transparency.
- Ensure policies and processes reflect inclusive practices
Experience & Qualifications:
- 1218+ years of HR experience with strong HRBP exposure; corporate functions partnering preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in HR transformation, digital HR, AI or HR analytics projects.
- Experience in multi-geography HR partnering (India + international).
- Strong strategic HRBP capability
- MBA/PGDM in HR from a reputed institution; certifications in analytics/digital HR/AI beneficial.
