Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Head Chef at Florum Cafe And Restro, located in Kolkata. The Head Chef will oversee kitchen operations, develop creative menus, and ensure the preparation of high-quality dishes. Responsibilities include managing staff, controlling food costs, maintaining health and safety standards, and ensuring that the kitchen operates efficiently. The Head Chef will also collaborate with management to create an exceptional dining experience for guests.
Qualifications
- Extensive culinary expertise in menu development, food preparation, and presentation
- Proficiency in kitchen management, including staff supervision and time management skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene practices
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant culinary certification or formal training is beneficial
- Prior experience in a senior-level role in the food and beverage industry
