Responsibilities

  • Drive DSC business and growth agenda through the proactive identification, assessment, pursuit, and win of new sales opportunities in addition to effective management of RFQ opportunities.
  • Conduct opportunity assessments for identified opportunities and develop recommendations based on financial attractiveness, risk, and fit of customer requirements with DSC capabilities.
  • Identify DSC's value proposition and high-level solution parameters based on customer requirements. Develop a structured plan on how to win the opportunity.
  • Present solutions to customers, demonstrating clear business value, engaging in negotiations, and closing deals.
  • Collect customer feedback after opportunities and conduct internal post-opportunity reviews.
  • Collaborate with internal functions that support the sales process & gather required input, and coordinate actions.

Requirements

  • Strong persuasion skills and ability to articulate commercial value to clients.
  • Ability to develop negotiation strategies with senior business leaders.
  • Deep understanding of customer business, underlying needs, and market trends.
  • Familiarity with DSC sales processes and consultative selling approaches.
  • Competence in using approved tools (e.g., Connexions) and ensuring compatibility with sales processes.
