Our client is distinguished player in the Pharma Industry. They are looking to hire for a pivotal role of a General Manager-Business Development.
Job Description
- Finding new APIs for emerging markets and recommend new dosage forms or product combinations for internal development
- Overseeing the Emerging Markets Portfolio to assist the company in fully using its assets
- Finding new product ideas from partner product lists, wish lists, and identified portfolio gaps
- Keeping an eye on current agreements for project deadlines, business potential, cost overruns, and the evaluation of business cases in accordance with corporate objectives
- Negotiating the terms of a technical and commercial arrangement
- Planning, observing, and evaluating the performance of the team as well as coordinating personal goals with organizational goals will help to raise performance levels overall.
The Successful Applicant
- 15+ years of experience in Pharma Industry with atleast 10 years of experience in Business Development
- Ability to setup and drive the team to achieve strong sales targets in line with the organizational goals
- Skilled at competitive tracking, benchmarking, and analysis to effectively develop plans for increasing market share
- Should have managed a team prior to this
- Possess strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- B. Pharm & MBA from a reputed college
