Job Description

  • Lead and scale a high-growth BESS platform with a clear P&L leadership path
  • Own marquee C&I and Telecom storage deals in a rapidly expanding market

Job Description

  • Lead business development for BESS solutions across C&I and Telecom segments
  • Own end-to-end deal lifecycle including opportunity origination, structuring, and closure
  • Close large-ticket, long-cycle deals and manage strategic customer relationships
  • Define and execute a structured go-to-market strategy for BESS solutions
  • Build sales governance, pipeline discipline, forecasting, and CRM rigor
  • Lead and develop a small team of sales and technical professionals
  • Work closely with manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering teams
  • Support expansion of BESS manufacturing capacity and solution readiness
  • Contribute to acquisition evaluation for strengthening C&I capabilities
  • Represent the organisation with CXO-level customers and partners

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Business Development should have:

  • 15-20 years of experience in business development or strategic sales
  • Proven track record of closing large, complex infrastructure or energy deals
  • Strong background in Li-ion batteries, BESS, power, or energy solutions
  • Deep exposure to C&I customers Telecom experience is a strong advantage
  • Well-networked with strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience building sales structure and leading cross-functional teams
  • Commercially astute with the potential to grow into a P&L leadership role
