Position: Bar Manager/Head Bartender - Urgent Hiring

About the role:
At Mirari, the bar program is built around mist, music, and mountains with a ground-floor focus on Lonavala heritage cocktails and a high-energy, Indian-forward program upstairs. The Bar Manager will lead this dual-concept bar, building beverage identity, systems, and a team that can deliver speed, consistency, and storytelling.
Key responsibilities:
- Run dual bar operations: Ode to Lonavala cocktails downstairs and high-energy Indian classics upstairs
- Develop and standardize recipes in a comprehensive Bar Bible
- Lead and train 4 bartenders (2 per floor) on speed, craft, and ingredient storytelling
- Produce signature concentrates (kokum shrub, jaggery syrup, chikki tincture, etc.) and oversee specialty ice
- Manage a 4-line craft beer program and espresso-based coffee service
- Align seasonal bar menus with Mirari's Seasons of Lonavala program
- Coordinate with kitchen teams on foodbeverage pairings and service flows
- Oversee bar inventory, costing, and purchasing coordination
- Ensure licensing, responsible service, and hygiene standards are met
Requirements:
- 78 years of bar management with strong craft cocktail and Indian flavor experience
- Exposure to multi-concept or multi-floor bar operations
- Strong training and team leadership skills; ability to create and enforce systems
- Familiarity with local/seasonal ingredients and interest in regional storytelling
- Comfortable with performance metrics, POS usage, and inventory control
- Fluent in Hindi and English; Marathi proficiency preferred
- Based in Mumbai/Pune/Lonavala or willing to relocate full-time
