Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Head Baker located in Panaji, Goa. The Head Baker will oversee daily baking operations, including preparing a variety of breads, viennoisserie, and pies. Responsibilities include managing food preparation processes, ensuring product quality and consistency, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the baking areas. Leadership tasks will involve supervising a small team, sourcing ingredients, and upholding the bakery's high standards of artisanal craftsmanship.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Bakery and Baking practices, including managing baking operations
  • Experience creating diverse products such as Bread and Cookies
  • Strong knowledge of Food Preparation techniques specific to baked goods
  • Attention to detail, time management, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to mentor and lead a small team effectively
  • Previous experience in artisanal baking or as a professional baker is highly desirable
  • Culinary or baking certifications are a plus
