Amity University, Noida is seeking a dynamic and visionary individual for the position of Head Alumni Relations . This pivotal role is focused on fostering strong relationships between the university and its alumni network, ensuring ongoing engagement, and leveraging alumni support for the growth and enrichment of the university community. The Alumni Head will be responsible for developing and implementing alumni relations strategies that promote involvement and pride among graduates while encouraging them to contribute towards the university's mission and goals. As a key member of the university's administration, the Alumni Head will collaborate with various departments to enhance alumni services, organize events, and create communications that keep alumni informed and connected. The successful candidate will manage a dedicated team of professionals in the Alumni Relations Office, utilizing innovative approaches to attract alumni participation. With a strong emphasis on community-building and support for current students, this role provides a unique opportunity to shape the alumni experience and strengthen ties that extend beyond graduation. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive alumni engagement strategy to enhance relationships with alumni.
  • Organize alumni events, networking opportunities, and reunions to foster connections among graduates and the university.
  • Manage and oversee the alumni database to ensure accurate and up-to-date information on alumni.
  • Collaborate with university departments to identify opportunities for alumni involvement in current student initiatives and programs.
  • Create and distribute communications including newsletters, social media updates, and event promotions to keep alumni informed and engaged.
  • Develop and manage fundraising initiatives to support scholarships, programs, and university projects through alumni contributions.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of alumni engagement activities and strategies, making adjustments as needed to improve outcomes.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in alumni relations, community engagement, or a similar role within an educational institution.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans that enhance alumni engagement and participation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in event planning and management, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using technology and social media tools for communication and engagement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision.
