Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram for the position of Head Accountant. The Head Accountant will be responsible for overseeing all accounting activities, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and maintaining accurate financial records. Key tasks include financial reporting, preparing tax returns, managing budgets, conducting audits, and supervising accounting staff. The ideal candidate will play a strategic role in monitoring cash flow, implementing financial controls, and supporting the finance team in decision-making processes.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Financial Reporting, Budgeting, and Taxation
- Proficiency in Accounting Software and General Ledger Management
- Strong Analytical Skills for Financial Analysis and Reporting
- Experience with Internal Audits and Developing Financial Controls
- Ability to Lead and Supervise Accounting Teams
- Excellent Understanding of Regulatory Financial Compliance
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or CA is preferred
