Business Analyst.
Objectives of this role :.
- Drive awareness of requirements across business units and identify substandard systems processes through evaluation of real-time data.
- Serve as thought leader for technical business processes, developing systems prototypes that promote increased efficiency and productivity on multiple levels.
- Create and implement precise management plans for every project, with attention to transparent communication at all levels.
- Perform, evaluate, and communicate thorough quality assurance at every stage of systems development.
- Determine and develop user requirements for systems in production, to ensure maximum usability.
Responsibilities :.
- Partner with stakeholders across business units to develop analyses and documentation in a collaborative way, communicating effectively and efficiently with production, managerial, and executive teams.
- Evaluate, analyze and communicate systems requirements on a continuing basis, and maintain systems processes, including the delivery of monthly status reports to all appropriate parties.
- Author and update internal and external documentation, and formally initiate and deliver requirements and documentation.
- Conduct daily systems analytics to maximize effectiveness and troubleshoot problems.
- Develop meaningful and lasting relationships with partners for optimized systems integration, and respond to questions and concerns from managers and executives with supporting research and recommendations.
Required skills and qualifications :.
- 4-6 years of experience in analytics and systems development.
- High proficiency with SQL and database management.
- Proven analytical abilities.
- Experience in generating process documentation and reports.
- In-depth knowledge of NSDL/CDSL systems, including operational workflows for :.
- Pledging and Hypothecation.
- Corporate Actions (Bonus, Dividend, Rights Issue).
- Settlement and Clearing Mechanisms.
- Demat account opening.
- Billing process.
- Familiarity with Depository Participant (DP) operations and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with Depository system i.e. CDAS in case of CDSL and DPM/Edpm in case of NSDL.
- Understanding of SEBI Circular regarding Depository operation.
- Familiarity with audit procedures and proficiency in interpreting standard depository file formats.
Candidate must/preferably have :.
- Experience of working in broking back office operations.
- NISM-Series-VI : Depository Operations.
- ISTQB Certification.
- Experience of writing BRD / FSD, manual testing, automation testing.
- Understanding of equity / FNO trading & settlement.
- Hands-on experience with DP Secure application (preferred).
- Ability to work with Depository APIs and integration points for transaction processing.
Preferred skills and qualifications :.
- Proven ability to manage projects and user testing.
- Excellent communication skills, with an ability to translate data into actionable insights.
