Description
We are seeking a Senior Manager for HCC Coding to lead our coding team in India. This role requires extensive experience in medical coding, specifically in Hierarchical Condition Category (HCC) coding. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring coding accuracy, compliance, and team performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the HCC coding team to ensure accurate and compliant coding practices.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of coding processes to maintain high standards of quality.
- Provide training and support to team members on HCC coding guidelines and updates.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure clear documentation and coding accuracy.
- Analyze coding data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations related to medical coding and billing.
Skills and Qualifications
- 14-17 years of experience in HCC coding or related field.
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCC coding guidelines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with coding software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
