HCC Coding

Description

We are seeking a skilled HCC Coder to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have 1-4 years of experience in coding, specifically in HCC coding, and will be responsible for ensuring accurate coding of patient diagnoses to support risk adjustment and quality reporting.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze medical records for accurate coding of HCC (Hierarchical Condition Category) diagnoses.
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and improve coding accuracy.
• Conduct audits and provide feedback to improve coding practices within the team.
• Stay updated on changes in coding regulations and policies related to HCC.

Skills and Qualifications

• 1-4 years of experience in HCC coding or medical coding.
• Certification in medical coding (such as CPC, CCS, or COC) is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM coding guidelines and HCC coding principles.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and coding software.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to ensure accurate coding.
• Effective communication skills to work with healthcare providers and team members.
