Role Overview
We are seeking a Hardware Sustaining Engineer with 5+ years of experience to support existing products, resolve hardware issues, and drive design improvements. The candidate should have strong expertise in embedded hardware troubleshooting, analog design, and power electronics.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and resolve hardware issues in existing products.
- Perform embedded hardware troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Implement design improvements and cost optimization initiatives.
- Support product lifecycle activities including component obsolescence management and redesigns.
- Work closely with global engineering, customer support, and compliance teams.
- Maintain technical documentation and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
- Work on low-power analog circuit design and support EMC testing activities.
- Use debugging tools such as oscilloscope and logic analyzer effectively.
Technical Requirements
- Strong experience in embedded hardware troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience in low-power analog circuit design.
- Knowledge of AC/DC and DC/DC converters.
- Familiarity with microcontrollers and embedded systems.
- Experience using oscilloscope and logic analyzer.
- Understanding of EMC testing and compliance standards.
