Skill Set & Responsibilities
The role involves hardware integration and development, starting from thorough analysis of product requirements and translating them into robust hardware designs. Responsibilities include end‑to‑end hardware design and development, integration of multiple hardware modules, and performing hardware‑level verification leading up to successful product release. The role also emphasizes systematic documentation of lessons learned and best practices to support continuous improvement.
Required Knowledge
Mandatory knowledge includes a strong understanding of hardware requirement illustration, circuit design, simulation, test plan creation, and detailed technical documentation. The candidate must have hands‑on experience and strong expertise in the automotive hardware domain, including component datasheet comparison and worst‑case analysis. A solid foundation in analog and digital electronics, along with power electronics, is essential. The role requires exposure to board‑level testing and troubleshooting as well as competence in hardware verification, including test plan preparation, execution, and report generation. Experience working on supplier‑driven design changes and sound knowledge of international EMI/EMC and reliability standards are also mandatory.
Additional / Advantageous Skills
Basic knowledge of functional safety standards such as ISO 26262 and DRBFM will be considered an added advantage. Good proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and strong English language communication skills (both written and verbal) are also expected.
Qualification & Experience
The candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE / BTech) in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE). A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in the above‑mentioned areas and requirements is required.
