About the role:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in hardware design with expertise in digital and analog circuit design.
  • Hands-on experience with IoT product development and MCUs, MPUs, SOM modules, SBCs, and SoCs.
  • Have a deep understanding of the product development process from scratch to mass manufacturing.
  • Have a deep understanding of the component selection process, Solution architecture, and high-level logic flow for hardware.
  • Experienced in Hardware Designing (Both schematic and PCB designing).

Key Responsibility:

  • Lead the hardware development process from conceptualization and solution architecture to schematic design, PCB layout, and successful mass manufacturing hand-off
  • Develop system block diagrams and define hardware architecture based on product requirements, selecting optimal microcontrollers (MCUs), microprocessors (MPUs), SoCs, and other critical components
  • Design and validate analog and digital circuits, including power management, MCU/MPU peripherals, and sensor interfaces
  • Manage the complete PCB design flow, including schematic capture, component library management, layout execution, and generation of manufacturing files (Gerber, BOM, Pick-and-Place)
  • Integrate and troubleshoot hardware with firmware, utilizing lab equipment such as DSOs, logic analyzers, and function generators to diagnose and resolve issues at the board and system level.
  • Implement and test various communication interfaces, including I2C, SPI, CAN, RS-485, and Ethernet. Make informed selections of power electronic components like MOSFETs and IGBTs
  • Proficiency in PCB design tools such as ORCAD, Eagle, and Altium
  • Good hardware troubleshooting skills.
  • Able to support/debug system integration.
