Hadoop Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Hadoop Developer with 8-13 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in software development and experience in Big Data technologies, specifically Hadoop. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing complex Hadoop-based solutions to meet our business needs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement complex Hadoop-based solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve Hadoop-related issues
• Optimize and tune Hadoop environments for maximum performance
• Create and maintain documentation related to Hadoop environments and solutions
• Provide technical guidance to other team members
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 8-13 years of experience in software development with a focus on Big Data technologies
• Strong experience with Hadoop ecosystem components such as HDFS, MapReduce, YARN, Hive, Pig, and Spark
• Experience with Hadoop distribution systems such as Cloudera, Hortonworks, or MapR
• Strong programming skills in Java, Scala, or Python
• Experience with data modeling and schema design
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as HBase, Cassandra, or MongoDB
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in Agile development methodologies is a plus
