Role Overview :
We are looking for an experienced Test Architect with strong expertise in Tricentis Tosca to lead the design and implementation of scalable test automation frameworks for enterprise applications.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining automation strategy, designing end-to-end testing solutions, and mentoring QA teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
This role requires close collaboration with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to implement robust automation practices across projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement test automation strategies and frameworks using Tricentis Tosca.
- Architect and design scalable end-to-end automation solutions for enterprise applications.
- Ensure automation frameworks are reusable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise testing standards.
- Lead Tosca automation initiatives across multiple projects, ensuring consistent implementation of best practices.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to QA and automation engineers.
- Conduct automation code reviews and framework improvements to enhance test efficiency.
- Work closely with business analysts, developers, product owners, and QA teams to align testing strategies with business requirements.
- Translate functional requirements into automation test scenarios and frameworks.
- Integrate Tosca automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or Bamboo.
- Support continuous testing initiatives within agile development environments.
- Manage test environment setup, maintenance, and optimization to support automation activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation and framework-related issues.
- Ensure adherence to testing standards, automation best practices, and quality benchmarks.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, including 5+ years of hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca automation.
- Strong expertise in Tosca modules such as Tosca Commander, Tosca Execution, and Tosca API automation.
- Hands-on experience designing automation frameworks and scalable test architectures.
- Strong understanding of test automation methodologies, frameworks, and enterprise QA processes.
- Experience integrating automation frameworks with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or Bamboo.
- Proficiency in API testing and automation using Tosca.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database validation techniques for backend testing.
- Experience working with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA or HP ALM.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
