Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled SAP ABAP Consultant / Senior Consultant / Lead with strong hands-on expertise in modern S/4HANA development, including RAP, CAPM, and SAP BTP.
The ideal candidate will have deep technical capabilities in ABAP along with experience in building cloud-ready applications and integrations in S/4HANA transformation programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on ABAP development in S/4HANA environments
- Design and develop custom applications using :
- RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)
- CAPM (Cloud Application Programming Model)
- Build and deploy applications on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
- Develop and enhance :
- CDS Views
- OData Services
- APIs and custom integrations
- Work on enhancements, reports, forms, interfaces, and custom developments
- Support bug fixing, performance optimization, and system improvements
- Collaborate with functional consultants for requirement gathering and technical design
- Support unit testing, SIT/UAT, and production deployments
Technical Requirements (Must-Have)
- Strong hands-on experience in ABAP development
- Proven experience in S/4HANA implementation or migration projects
- Hands-on exposure to :
- SAP BTP
- CAPM
- RAP
- Strong experience in CDS Views and OData development
- Experience integrating SAP with non-SAP systems
Good-to-Have Skills
- Exposure to Fiori/UI5 development
- Knowledge of REST APIs and cloud-native architecture
- Experience in performance tuning and code optimization
- Understanding of clean core principles in S/4HANA
