Key Responsibilities
- User and Account Management: Administer user accounts, groups, and organizational units (OUs) via the Google Admin Console for onboarding, offboarding, and modifying access rights.
- End-User Support & Troubleshooting: Provide L1/L2 support for all GWS applications (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Meet, Calendar, etc.), troubleshooting issues related to mail flow, access permissions, calendar synchronization, and third-party integrations.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and monitor security features, including 2-Step Verification (2FA), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), email security policies, and audit logs to ensure compliance with company policies.
- System Configuration & Maintenance: Configure and customize GWS applications, manage domain settings (MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC records), monitor system health, and perform proactive maintenance.
- Mobile Device Management (MDM): Assist with configuring and managing mobile device settings (Android/iOS) to enforce security policies and provide access to GWS applications.
- Documentation & Training: Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and provide training to end-users on best practices and new features.
- Collaboration & Project Support: Participate in the deployment of new features, application rollouts, and support data migration projects from legacy systems (e.g., Microsoft 365).
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: 6 to 8 years hands-on experience in an IT support or GWS administration role.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the Google Admin Console, email routing, DNS records, single sign-on (SSO), and security protocols.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple open cases and incidents within defined SLAs.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with both technical teams and non-technical end-users, including VIP/CXO level support.
- Certifications (Preferred): A relevant certification such as the Associate Google Workspace Administrator Certification is often preferred.
